NZXT Introduces the S5 RGB and S5 RGB Deluxe — the Return of the S Series

Real steel and panoramic dual glass, in two pre-installed RGB cooling configurations.

LOS ANGELES, CA — September 22, 2026 — NZXT, a leading brand in PC gaming components and prebuilt systems, today introduced the S5 RGB and S5 RGB Deluxe, two compact steel ATX mid-tower cases with panoramic dual tempered glass and RGB cooling pre-installed. Both models share one chassis, the same materials and the same clearances; the Deluxe adds two more RGB fan units, at the bottom and rear. The S5 RGB marks the return of the S series, the entry tier of NZXT’s case lineup.

NZXT made the S5 RGB for the builder who wants a case that looks and feels genuinely well-made. A sturdy steel chassis carries tempered glass across the front and left side, with a steel mesh panel feeding the right-side intake and removable PVC mesh filters at the top and bottom. The single-frame 360 mm RGB reverse fan is pre-installed and turned toward the glass, presenting clean blades through the panel — the side intake filled and wired from the start, with the remaining mounts open for the build.

It supports radiators up to 360 mm on top, with room for up to 10 fans. The side intake draws through steel mesh, with removable PVC mesh filters top and bottom.
• Tool-less panels and modern I/O: The panels come away without tools, making assembly and later upgrades faster and cleaner. The front I/O carries USB-C, two USB-A ports and a headset jack for current-generation devices and fast transfers.

S5 RGB Deluxe

The S5 RGB Deluxe is the same case with the cooling already done. It shares the S5 RGB chassis, the same steel and glass, the 10 fan mounts and every clearance figure, and ships with three RGB fan units pre-installed instead of one — at the side, bottom and rear.

What’s Different

• Three fan units pre-installed: A single-frame 360 mm RGB reverse fan on the right-side intake, a 120 mm RGB reverse fan in the angled bottom mount and a 120 mm RGB fan at the rear — five fans in total, mounted and wired before the box is opened.
• Reverse blades where the build shows: The side and bottom units are reverse-blade fans, so what reads through the glass is clean blades. The rear unit is a standard forward-blade fan.
• Same chassis, same clearances: Dimensions, volume, panel materials, front I/O, GPU and cooler clearance and the two-year warranty match the S5 RGB exactly. Weight rises to 6.44 kg (14.20 lb) with the added fans.
