This is my fourth NZXT PSU, and my first in the Core series. Performance on my previous Gold models has been solid, and the one time I had to RMA due to a DOA unit purchased from a 3rd party seller, the process was smooth and painless. Given that the "Core" series is a bit more budget-oriented, I plan to use this unit as a back-up to my Gold series PSUs, but I expect the same price-to-performance ratio and guarantee NZXT provides for it's 'big-brothers'. Aesthetically this Core model maintains the same appeal as the Gold series, which I find understated and not overly flashy. I also really appreciate the minimal air resistance of the open honeycomb mesh on the intake. ATX 3.1 / 12V-2x6 support is nice for future-proofing. The biggest knock against this unit is that warranty is only 7 years (vs 10 years on the Gold series), but that's still among the best in the industry, and it's likely other components will fail or be replaced long before this PSU will.
